About Leva Zand
Leva Zand is a conceptual artist whose medium is the living earth; fresh-cut flowers, seasonal fruit, herbs, and organic matter. She transforms ordinary objects and extraordinary flora into immersive, temporary environments that invite brief human presence before fading away.
Having immigrated to the United States in her early twenties, Zand’s practice is rooted in a continuous sense of wandering. Her work interrogates the fragile nature of belonging, family, memory, and displacement. Through ephemeral installations, she constructs spaces that hold emotional resonance for a few days before being released back to nature.
